La Zurriola is an exposed beach break that offers both left and right hand waves and is often working, it is all year round destination. It offers three main peaks: Monpas on one side close to the mountain, Middle and Kubos/El Espigon where beginners and surf schools use to surf.
The wave quality depends on sandbars and the best swell direction is from the northwest. The best surf season is from September to April.
In addition to La Zurriola, other surf spots in San Sebastian that worth a visit is La Ondarreta and La Concha Beach.
